Review

This is so pacy! I flew through it in two sittings! It’s a dual narrative (which I love) from the perspective of Alba and Arthur. Arthur is the son of the owner of one of the most powerful corporations who has to transition into a new host body when he gets sick. Whilst Alba lives in a home out in the wilderness surrounded by nuclear waste land and is studying to be picked by a mentor to go to the city and study!

I really, really enjoyed this! I’m not one for dystopian novels but this has me changing my mind! I loved the social commentary of it and how although it seems so unrealistic (the genre tropes not Sarah’s writing!) after living through the last twelve months, the thought of antibiotics becoming ineffective is terrifying and seems more possible than ever!

Definitely recommend the is especially if you’re a dystopian thriller fan!
